After hearing about Six Feet Under last year, I have been trying to get a chance to see it. And I have been spending the last few days trying to download the last two seasons. There is a reason why I am online all the time suddenly. The queues at mIRC are very long and I don\’t have sources. Simply because most people don\’t watch Six Feet Under! It\’s a \”drama\” about a dysfunctional family (how unique, right) who owns a funeral home. Because it\’s created by Alan Ball (the creator of American Beauty), I had wanted to see it. The opening credits are really good. :)

MAJOR DILEMMA #123920!!!!!

Apparently, I have trouble making big decisions, especially when I am torn between the two.

Remember how I complained about being homeless? Well, now I am torn between living in two apartments. I actually have the choice. Both are the same distance from Soda Hall. They are both three blocks within each other, so I won\’t regret any distance thing. BUT ARGH!

Pluses of Berkeley Way/Shattuck

  • cheap rent – $450/month
  • own private line
  • two more roommates – I consider it less lonely
  • Minuses of Berkeley Way/Shattuck

  • OLD OLD OLD OLD OLD OLD OLD!!!
  • 2 pronged outlets
  • obsessive landlord
  • non-carpet floor
  • noisy – it\’s right next to a really busy street
  • dark
  • in an not-so-secure area
  • no elevator
  • no splashing in bathroom, because it\’d leak down below
  • leaky ceiling in the foyer when it rains
  • next to fire station – imagine what would happen when ingorant, dumb freshman accidentally sets off the fire alarm by putting popcorn in a microwave for 10 minutes
  • Pluses of Francisco/Shattuck

  • a lot of space in both the living room and bedroom
  • more privacy
  • quiet building – mostly graduate students going for PHDs
  • elevator!
  • lots of light
  • available parking space
  • electric stove
  • start in July or August
  • floating furniture – we get a coffee table and a dresser
  • three prong outlet!
  • I\’ll finally get a chance to buy the room divider I always wanted…
  • Minuses of Francisco/Shattuck

  • expensive rent
  • will have to room with Emily again (is that a downside or upside?)
  • Daynah invited me to be part of the Fantasy Log yesterday! :D Such an honor, especially since I have been stalking the blog for a very long time. But look at the smilie !!! It\’s an orbiting charged particle!

The webcam picture to the right is NOT a c00kie. It\’s a pancake. :) fyi. It comes from a huge breakfast package I got from Costco. That\’s what I have been living off of for a few weeks now. ;)

How about this? Someone walk down to Walgreens downtown and buy me Zours, using this (I had to save it because I knew they were going to take it down on their site). The quick b-day free present. :D I admit it though. I went to Walgreens twice in one week. The first time I paid 25 cents for a 5 oz box. Then the second time, the cashier got confused and thought that a 5 oz box was totally free. I am off to get some more!

Edit: I really want number 15 down below.

Heh, I have my camera this week. I want to get a picture of everyone (with me in it obviously) I know now as a friend for my birthday!

I know. I am greedy. I am self-absorbed. I am self-centered. But it\’s going to be my birthday! :D Hehe, stacee asked me to put it up. How many of the wishes below can actually be met?

Look! Wait why do my cheeks look pink? I got my first b-day present. :D Well, that\’s not the only thing. I opened the mailbox in Lafayette yesterday and found a huge envelope. Inside, I found a paper latern and a valentine puzzle. :D Look it\’s the girl from funny love! The hair bun on the left got ripped a little. Me happy!

Got money from my grandparents too. Heh. Out to the bank they go.

And look! A b-day present from Emmy. Well, not exactly. A few days ago I asked Emmy to send me Virgin Suicides and it wouldn\’t go through from UCLA to Earthlink. :p Neither would it go through from UCLA to UCSD. But now I got it. Thanks Emmy! :D

My birthday is this Wednesday (yeah I have my MCB final that day too) and like Lele said…I feel old. Two decades on this earth is just two too many. I am leaving my teens too. :(

Hello. MAJOR RANT. I am still pissed off about how that GIRL ALEX ditched me on Wednesday. I had called back the day after I saw it that I wanted to take the place. BUT SHE DITCHED ME!!! So irked that I want to go to their apartment and like…______________!!!

    Me: Hello?
Alex: May I speak with Jennifer please?
    Me: Yes, this is Jennifer.
Alex: Yes, you came and saw a room here a few days ago. And you wanted to see it again tomorrow?
    Me: Yes, at noon.
Alex: Well you see, I decided to give it to my friend. So it\’s taken. Sorry.
    Me: *shocked*
    Alex: *click*
