A fun-filled day today. :) Well, almost.

I woke up to the beeping of my cell phone at 7:30 am. After lying there for a few minutes, I got up. By 8 am, I was out the door and on highway 24 speeding toward Berkeley. Somehow, yes I ended up on Stuart rather than Blake. I don\’t know how that happened, when I was thinking Blake all the way there. Eventually though, I found Sri and we drove to the Alameda Food Bank.

Can you believe it? Things haven\’t changed at the Food Bank since the last time I volunteered there. Mary Schoen, the director, did the same thing as usual. Blah, it was dull…and exhausting. Although this time, I was more \”mature\”, because Sri got me into the mood, it just wasn\’t as fun as sorting at the Contra Costa Food Bank. It was pretty interesting to sort the salvage on the psuedo-grocery shelves though. Sri looked as excited as I was. :)

Mary refused to let Sri stay the extra hour and because I didn\’t know the way back, we got stuck going to San Francisco. Although I wanted to turn back, Sri convinced me to pay the two dollar toll to cross the bridge. We picked up lunch at Togos in San Francisco downtown and came back to the Food Bank within an hour. That was dumb. Haha, but Sri and I had a couple of good laughs.

After determining that I wouldn\’t be seeing A Walk To Remember with Stacee and Simon, I decided to just head over to Sam\’s place. By the way, Sri and Sam condemned watching A Walk to Remember. Mandy Moore? Are you sure you don\’t have posters all over your wall? You know, critics said that movie was only meant for ditzy teenage girls and gay guys. Okay, I laughed. So boo me. Anyway, at Sam\’s dorm, I helped (well listened) while he was able to solve the second problem of the cs homework. Assembly language is so dramatically complicated. Can you believe it…like four lines just to say z=4? Anyway, I got that done.

I then dragged Sam with me to the Food Bank to pick up Sri. By now, Sam figured out that I wasn\’t the greatest driver and in his words, \”you tend to gauge things incorrectly\”. Yes. I drove the two of them to Safeway. Then I dropped off Sri at his apartment.

Sam had invited me to dinner. So instead of the dee see, we decided to try a restaurant on College Avenue. Yes, he made me drive there although he had degraded my driving skills already. :p We ate at La Mediterranee after walking from restaurant to restaurant on the street. Not bad…we kept commenting on every dish. Intersting stuff. :) Although personally I wouldn\’t recommend it to the nonadventurous.

Then I got my EE43 pre-lab done. YAY!

Bottom idea of today: why doesn\’t everybody ever comment? :p Remember I have a tracker. :D
