{"id":2803,"date":"2010-01-04T23:33:13","date_gmt":"2010-01-05T07:33:13","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/of.jennism.com\/?p=2803"},"modified":"2010-01-04T23:33:13","modified_gmt":"2010-01-05T07:33:13","slug":"one-of-a-kind-cat-sweatshirt","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/of.jennism.com\/?p=2803","title":{"rendered":"One of a kind cat sweatshirt"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>According to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.currentssf.com\/\">Currents<\/a>, the store where I bought Chris the following sweatshirt, they don&#8217;t make it anymore.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/circia\/4227107483\/\" title=\"In his favorite sweatshirt by jdng, on Flickr\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/farm5.static.flickr.com\/4013\/4227107483_07459d20c5.jpg\" width=\"375\" height=\"500\" alt=\"In his favorite sweatshirt\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Every time, we go to some San Francisco culture event, Chris wears his birthday present.  I had swooped into <a href=\"http:\/\/www.currentssf.com\/\">Currents<\/a> at the last minute, looking for the present.  Unfortunately, the dog sweatshirt was not in the right size.  But the cat was.  Even though it was rather pricey, I bought it.  I liked that there was never a pretentious air in the store unlike the other staples along the Valencia corridor.<\/p>\n<p>And Chris loved it.  At least once an hour, someone would come up to him and say, &#8220;I love your shirt!&#8221;  And he would put on his hood to show the ears.  Then turn around to show his wiggling tail.<\/p>\n<p>When we went into Currents again, he talked to the owner.  <i>They don&#8217;t make it anymore<\/i>, he said of the Japanese store.<\/p>\n<p>One of a kind now.
