During the first month that my dad first came to America for college in Washington, he kept encountered new words and new phrases that he never heard in the English classes he had in Hong Kong. One day, he encountered the word \”hump\” used as a verb.
He asked his roommate, a nice Caucasian guy, about it, \”What is \’humping\’?\”
The roommate smiled and demonstrated, a swinging pelvic action against the bed.
My dad, only 18 then (and also the person who said that friendship was a ship of many friends on an English test), gave an embarassed \”oh\”.
funny post, i kinda had the sad experience. except i was in junior high school and the guys would laugh at me when i shake that little pint of chocolate milk.
i didn\’t realize till i was 15 that they were thinking of nasty thoughts. lol
awww that\’s cute.
