When I got up today, I happened to look back on the bed and there was a dead spider under where I had been sleeping. Don\’t those insects know that I tend to steal blankets often and that only the courageous should share a bed with me?

A spider is an arachnid, not an insect :)
an insect has 6 legs? i was unsure what name to assign to a spider, so i put down insect.
Oddly, I was talking to someone else about the distinction between insects and arachnids yesterday. An insect has 6 legs and adult arachnid has 8.
I think we\’re all missing the point here. The point is that there was a SPIDER in her BED. GOOD LORD.
I am going to irradiate my sheets and thedn burn them and buy new ones before I go to bed tonight. :(
