Working in a startup environment vs. working in a larger corporation? Benefits? Downsides?

A large corporation that acts like startup environment.
I have no idea really. Ask Devesh, he\’s done both.
Depends on what kind of benefits you value more, I say! Large corp = probably better pay & benefits like medical insurance. Startup = more lively, spirited… you\’re not a corporate drone, but part of something that you can feel is thriving underneath your fingers. Corp = stability is more assuring though!
It\’s Sexy Guy vs. Stable Guy.
Mr. Start-up = Mr. Risk. Mr. Big Corp = Mr. Safe.
Coming from a Fortune Global 50, I\’d say the pay is worse, the bureaucracy is insane, but you will never ever have to worry about getting your bills paid on time. The best thing is being able to play in a very large sand box. And there is the added social perk that everyone knows who you work for — something you will not get working for, say, a Web 2.0 start-up with an absolutely fucktarded name, lollers.
