you probably have a desire to make out with them… well, actually, in my experience the feeling of wanting to make out with someone is what initially informs me that i am attracted to someone.
so, in essence, what i am positing in my response and what you have presupposed in your question is that attraction happens first preconsciously, and only then to we consciously notice (through some symptom like wanting to make out or weak knees) that we are attracted to that person.
Yeah, I think Madhu is right. There’s some sort of subconscious switch that turns on, and then you just know. Seeing them brightens up your day. You’re trying harder than usual to make eye contact. And, of course, you really *really* want to make out with them.
denial. you pretend you don’t want to go out with them. you ask your friends for advice on how to send them the signal ;-)
