RCC hiring is here once again. Since you were qualified enough to be an alternate last year, I wanted to encourage you to apply again since you hadn\’t already decided to re-apply. I know this reminder comes a bit late (The deadline is at 5pm today April 4th), but if you would like to re-apply let me know and I can stretch the deadline for you.
For those of you who don\’t know what a RCC is…it stands for Residential Computing Consultant. Basically, a RCC heads into the dreaded zone of the CAL dorms to assist residents with troubleshooting…and basically helping them with their crisises. AKA \”OMG! There\’s like this picture thing happening on my screen. RED BRICKS or something!\”
Great. Aaron told me how this job was severely underpaid and I was about to apply elsewhere. But RCCs only work 5-8 hours/week. I don\’t know if I should apply again, but I am still displeased that I got the alternate position. >:(
grrr.. those losers. >:[ At least it\’s not as bad as SNS here.. (student network services, though they do more besides dorm network admin) they only get paid about 8 an hour. Blah.. Though they do very little.. They sit around in the office mostly and play LAN games. :p ahh, i guess it all comes down to if you want to do it or not.
