Today, I learned something new. Dogs can die from eating chocolate. I am definitely not a source of animal cruelty. But what if I withdrew a (potential) xmas gift?
Maybe melting the quality chocolate into a punching bag might be more appropriate.

There are all sorts of treats that are chocolatey / ice cream for dogs. I know because my dog was a choc-o-holic. One Easter she broke out of her kennel while we were at church and ate all of the peanut M&Ms out of the Easter baskets. But she didn’t like peanuts so she spit them all out. We came home to gross little peanuts all over the floor.
Incidentally, she didn’t die from that, so it’s not really a guarantee… ;) But don’t get it for a Christmas gift.
Whoa – my dog ate my easter basket when I was a kid too! She died…15 years later.
