I’ve seen that before… mostly what bugs me is the presumption that clicking is bad. If you click, you’ve made a mistake, and the website goes to great lengths to tell you that you screwed up. I’d rather have clicking than a 2 minute detour every time I click when I’m not supposed to.
It’s kinda odd. I always felt like the mouse click was a way to confirm actions rather that it being a bad thing.
Perhaps, it’s because we’re so trained to expect that a great change will happen with a click. The interface suggests that a click doesn’t have to be a symbol of power.
