More complaints about my networking instructor from the first class. Some girl asked about DNS (domain name server). She mentioned how an error message would pop up because the DNS is unreachable. Then the instructor looked at her quizzically and cried, \”OH! When I think of DNS, I think of a host! You\’re thinking of a server. If the DNS is unreachable, I think DNS must be shut down… You see, I don\’t think like that…\” Then he blabbered on and on, implying that we should think his way and how everybody else\’s perspective is wrong.
GAH!
Four hours until I\’ll have to attend that class again. If I get very upset with it, I think I\’ll just withdraw. Firstly, I am not transferring the units to Berkeley. Secondly, I\’ll just be losing money. But unfortunately, I might be losing my chance to get Microsoft certification. Then again, I just looked it up…the certification tests…are expensive. Blah, so much for that.
>:P i need to have a little talk with that man about internet infrastructure.
Well, my high school CS teacher used to tell us that the certifactes are basically pieces of paper that can be used to increase salary. So, just get the certification sometime before you start working…
