pffft… pardon me, but your [EDITED] seems like a real ASSHOLE. i dont understand why people have to try and pressure you so much when it\’s OBVIOUS you dont want to. that\’s so unbelievably inconsiderate.. if i was in that situation, i\’d get really mad. i\’d practically get violent, telling them to \”F OFF AND LET ME DO WHATEVER HELL I WANT.\” seriously. people not being considerate to MY personal wishes which they have NO JUDGEMENT OVER makes me extremely mad.
tell them off. and tell them off big time. tell them to fucking go to hell. make them understand that it\’s not their choice to make, and they really NEED to be considerate of your wishes. i swear, i don\’t know anyone who gets pressured as much as you jenn.
edit from the db: perhaps i sounded mad. that\’s because i am. but i want to clarify why i am. not because they\’re the worst people ever, or that drinking itself is the worst thing ever. but that they can\’t seem to take a hint. they can\’t back off. and it\’s causing you grief, and that\’s something i can\’t stand to see. :(
and he was like HAR HAR YOU\’RE MISSING OUT ON THE FUN!!!!
see, i can understand a little bit of pressuring. it might be a bit humorous in some way, or what not. but when it\’s clear you don\’t want to.. continuing to pressure changes from being possibly humorous to borderline harassment.
the issue isn\’t even really about drinking here.. it\’s about the respect you deserve from your coworkers.
You should have told him off to his face! But anyhow, you deserve a pat on the back for standing up to him. *pat pat*
