ALECKY HAS LEFT. :( You would think he has a obnoxious exterior (yes, naim) but he is just as sweet as…a lemon?

Unlike Stacee who had to wait four hours until his arrival, ALECKY was wandering around outside the BART station once I had arrived…and I saw a guy in green with a backwards cap…looking lost. Basically, I ran toward him in a full run and kicked him. That\’s the story of how we first met…in person.

highlights of his entire stay:

  • ALECKY and his mother calling me trying relay that fact that he missed the bus and left a list of phone numbers at the airport woohoo!
  • being asked if I had Grey Poupon?
  • making ALECKY stay in the rec room while I had my staff meeting
  • taking pictures of him sleeping! :D
  • attending appointments with him…heh heh
  • finishing my cog sci paper and having ALECKY of all people edit it for grammar
  • ALECKY attending my cog sci lecture on metaphor of language, then never stopping to allude to it for the rest of the week — KNOWLEDGE IS SEEING, THEORIES ARE BUILDINGS…
  • him meeting GODLIKE SHINE LUN – \’nuff said
  • my female friends thinking he is my boyfriend, just because he is…a guy…these are the same friends who thought Aaron was my boyfriend *cough*
  • trying to pick up my paycheck at work
  • eating at a viet place!
  • CAMPANALIE – yes it was open this time, naim
  • my dad meeting ALECKY – supposedly my dad came off as being someone who would be easily offended
  • TODAI 4EVA! I think naim would be jealous here…plus all the non-cali people reading…it\’s a buffet of sushi, seafood and other asian delicacies
  • Tucker\’s ice cream forever!!!! And meeting UNDERDEVELOPED.
  • I deliberately woke up at 8 am so that ALECKY can be AMERIIIICAHN – taking a shower in the morning
  • seeing the guy with the \”I LOVE JESUS CHRIST\” sign who I saw a few weeks ago
  • another round of Metreon!!!
  • dim sum at New Asia in SF chinatown – I don\’t think I am going to do this again – the servers were preying on the fact that Stacee and I couldn\’t speak Chinese well…and the fact that we were young and obviously Americanized…and that we had a non-asian with us
  • Fisherman WHARF – I don\’t know why we spent so long at the magnet store…oh I know whhhhy…I have a picture for Cheez and Lele! *cough( I don\’t know why ALECKY spent $35 on a video of us flying on a magic carpet over SAN FRANCISCO yes we did fly!!!! ONLY IN SF
  • sea otters!!!!
  • THE BUSHMAN
  • Ghiradelli STORE – ALECKY and I forced stacee into having the Earthquake – 8 scoops of ice cream, 8 toppings, and mounds of whip cream, chocolate chunks, and cherries – I ate the majority of it
  • a carciature (see below) by a tired and worn artist
    artist: Your name, sir?
    Alec: Alec.
    Stacee and me: NOOOOO…ALECKY. K-Y.
artist: K-Y? yes I like help. K-Y (which he proceeded to repeat for the next few minutes
  • ALECKY had a fillet-o-fish at McDonalds…not at In N Out :(
  • A \”NICE\” walk back to the BART station
  • watching my videos!
  • STAYING UP ALL NIGHT LONG (because ALECKY\’s flight was at 8:45 am and San Jose is an hour away and in these post 9-11 times, you have to get the airport early)…DOING STUFFFF
  • driving to San Jose International Airport (I am not going to do this again, people should always choose OAKLAND AIRPORT :p) and bidding a farewell to that ALECKY
