Remember this? If I could swear, I would swear right now. Broadband Internet providers tend to always trick people, at least in my experience. There\’s always hidden fees and they hook you in with appealing contracts of this and this. Plus there is all this technical BS that comes with it. With some of the services I have had, I have had to wait up to 45 minutes to get tech support. BUT COMCAST. I cancelled the service last month and to my dismay, I discover that they have been charging me (inadverdently according to billing) for an extra two months. I was afraid of this happening and fortunately had removed my credit card from their system right after I cancelled. Fortunately I was able to reach the billing department after five LONG minutes of navigating their phone menu system.
In other news, know any non-students in the Bay Area who are willing to do a research study ao but location-based computing for approximately 30-45 minutes…for a $20 Amazon gift certificate (or Caffe Strada, but I know people don\’t really go for Cafe things)? Come on now! I need people! All I require is that you\’re opinionated about things since it\’s basically an interview (asking for your opinion on certain scenarios).
aye… comcast is the sux0r. note that i never l33tspeak unless i must emphasize the suckiness of something.
