Oh state of California, can you not succumb to superficiality?!
I remember when I was high school I was so amused by Clinton\’s possibility of impeachment. Despite the fact that I was being educated by very aware liberal teachers, I hoped that Clinton would get impeached…just because it would have been interesting. The first time that a president could be impeached! There\’s a photo of my sister and me holding a newspaper the day of Clinton\’s impeachment (through the House of Representatives).
Looking back, I see how stupid such an impeachment was. It\’s funny how I could excuse Clinton\’s lewd behavior now but not excuse that of the Terminator\’s. More likely though, it\’s because the Terminator hasn\’t held political office before and thus undermines his potential as an able governor. I know nobody (personally) that voted for a GOVERNATOR. My grandmother didn\’t. My parents didn\’t. My friends didn\’t. I definitely didn\’t. (H3H??!?!?!?!?!) And yet he ousts Davis.
It is interesting how people easily succumb to novelty and name recognition. But it\’s probably along the lines of…how senior citizens are very excited for the moment that they can roll out of their nursing homes to the polling locations to cast their ballot while apathetic college students (the vote that really matters since we will be ruling the nation quite soon) ignore all the protests occuring on campus the signs people chanting vote no on prop 54 and larry flynt speaking in the background…oh california…
Can\’t be any worse than Jesse Ventura, right? Anyway, I voted for my friend Daniel Watts.
ask cheez and tanner about that one.
You already know my thoughts on it. Give the man a chance; not the Terminator. :)
people who vote for me–like Dinh–are cool!
