I have an appointment with a resident tomorrow to help him set up his internet connection. On his appointment request, he says that I need to call him to remind him. He leaves his cell phone number. So ever since 3 pm today, I have been dutifully calling approximately every 30 minutes. I am sure by the time he actually looks at his cell phone there will be 20-30 missed calls. Even worse, this person\’s voice mailbox is FULL. There was once that someone picked up and said repeatedly for about 30 seconds (making me confused) HE BACK IN 30 MINUTES HE BACK IN 30 MINUTES HE BACK IN 30 MINUTES… and hung up on me. He didn\’t pick up 30 minutes later.
I am so grateful for the redial button. I just have to make sure to press *67 each time.

I just applied for a research position for the summer…and I did not send a cover letter. Ugh, mistake??? I suppose I am tired of writing statements trying to sell myself (after finishing my grad apps yesterday), but still. My next goal: apply for Google.

he is. according to his student id number, this is his 8th year as a student. Plus, when I finally got a hold of him yesterday…HE CANCELLED MY APPOINTMENT. >:O
