Three for three! I got accepted to RPI.
RPI, however, is one of my least favorite schools. They don\’t offer much research for the IT program I applied to. In addition, my dad is trying to encourage me to go…just because RPI is a private school (and may give endowments???) Finally, I am reluctant to even try to go to RPI for the fact that my supervisor last year (whom I had a \”conflict\” with) currently attends that school for his graduate studies.
ahhh I remember that supervisor, hehe. How big is RPI? maybe you don\’t see him!
well i probably won\’t go to rpi because the hci program is too technical.
CONGRATS on UMICH & RPI! Didn\’t you want to go to U of T too? And U of Washington? I\’m so unsure of what I want to do with school (and with my life!), eeeh! At this point I\’m so sick of programming that I don\’t know if I want to ever do it again :P And I think the HCI program would require me to do so! I was thinking of leaning more towards the cognitive neuropsych side…but then again, I have no idea which schools are good for those either! I\’m sitting at around the same avg as you too! I hope I can get into grad school (I hope I hope I hope!)
don\’t let the ickus supervisor make the decision for you. besides, at a certain level of education, it gets much more difficult to avoid people, no matter where in the country you are.
