Grrrrr…

Well, I am not exactly pissed, but disappointed. Someone in my section was looking for a partner and I immediately went over to introduce myself. The project isn\’t hard, but I was frusturated with the segementation faults when I was programming the vectors for the lisp interpretation. Yeah so that\’s a lot of CS jargon right there. Anyway, I had planned to meet up with the guy tonight to work on the project. Yet, to my disappointment, he imed me a few minutes ago saying that he had a epiphany last night–he didn\’t want to be an EECS (electrical engineering/computer science) major anymore. And so thus, he was going to drop CS61C. I could have persuaded him to just finish the project, but then…I knew that I might have the same epiphany in a few months.

Sigh. This sucks now too. Although I got my ex-partner to get his friends to help me…I know I\’ll be spending a lot time on it.

And furthermore, ever since I decided to bubble \”computer science\” on my college application…I have always wondered if I should have tried majoring in English–something that I enjoy doing but got the worst grades from. (and look at that sentence ending with a preposition!)
