What software do I need for my new powerbook? (It\’s going to arrive in 5 days!) I still need to buy the mini-dvi to video adapter (which I found is not cheaper anywhere else, oops — only nineteen dollars anyway).
The last few days I have been thinking what would happen…if I never had gone to Berkeley. What if I got rejected and chose to go to UC Davis. Or UCSD? Would I have a blog? Would I still have met all the people I know now? Would it have been…better or worse? Who knows, but I chose the path I take. And the chances come, opening many paths.
It\’s interesting that if I had never joined protag boards and stay committed…that I probably wouldn\’t be a blogger. I would not have made some choices I made — an urge to blog, an urge to write. A few months ago, I thought joining RBJ would magically open thousands of opportunities. Oddly enough, it wasn\’t. Perhaps orkut is it. But then ultimately, it\’s what I make of…every opportunity I receive.

i\’ve seen old-school mac os trojans (before mac OS 9!). they were very, very stupid trojans. i think they just mess with how the mac starts up, but that was about it. :) pretty much they masquerade as some cool looking program and while you\’re investigating the program, it does something to your system. eek.
don\’t worry though… software.berkeley has norton antivirus for macs. i think if you also visit symantec\’s website, they have something about the trojan. i guess SAV protection is quite decent. :)
software for mac… uh… openoffice.org vs. Microsoft office for Mac? i haven\’t tried oo.org for macs but they\’re pretty decent for PCs, being an open source office suite. it\’s surprisingly quite compatible with MS Office… at least for me, since i don\’t do a lot of heavy-duty stuff with MS Office.
oh i don\’t know! What I am worried about is that at grad school, I\’ll have to toss my files back and forth. So MS office just in case since I am so used to it. The fact that I have to spend more money on office…sort of bothers me…

well i still think u would have been a blogger, but perhaps not as much if u went to davis, you know how it\’s all dead and scarce. unfilled with the weridos.
and as for me, what would\’ve happened if i went to davis. i think i would\’ve been the most unhappiest camper in the world. seriously! i would hate seeing dan and everyone else. well cept for lydia.
