It\’s strange. Being an INFJ, I am worn out really quickly by all the interaction I had to do with people. Just for work. When I return to my apartment, I can\’t really think clearly. Everything is race race. Maybe it\’s because I put so much energy toward interacting with people that I have none left for myself.
Tomorrow I am getting a tour of Cory Hall by anderson. :D
isn\’t it amazing that some people are actually energized by interacting with large amounts of people for extended periods of time? this baffles me.
It baffles me too. These are the extroverts who can go to sleep right after a party. I just can\’t. I need time to reflect on my own, alone.
oh ranch, i forgot to tell u of some news.
A week or so ago, I attended a seminar called colorful personalities. Basically it was a seminar to see what personality type you were and how to handle dealing with others with different personalities. There were 4 groups we could have fallen in:
GOLD-very conforming, obeying the rules, driven for success
GREEN-seeking to discover the unknown, research type
ORANGE-socialite, partier
BLUE-mother theresa, humantarian
Yeh, so I ended up being Gold. :\\ Then this stupid guy next to me asked me, \”Did you know you were going to be that color?\”
I said, \”No.\”
He said, \”Well, I could tell you were going to be gold.\”
me: How?
him: Just by the way you look.
That made me mad and I demanded to know what he meant by that and asked him outright, \”You think I\’m snobby looking huh?\”
him:No, you just seem like the type that conforms to rules. And you look organized.
Anyway, I got pissed off.
Then later he kept trying to make small talk and informed me that he took a personality test in his business class and that he was classified as an Emtf or something like that. well an extrovert. Yeh, so then he asked what major I was.
I said, \”Bio.\”
Then I saw him roll his eyes at me and scrunch up his face in disgust, \”I don\’t like people who go into majors just to make money and because their parents told them to do it.\”
I got so mad and went off on a spiel, \”I like bio and I don\’t see myself doing anything else. Especially Econ! Econ is the most boring thing.\” (That was to jab at him for being an international studies major…he was taking econ and business classes.) I went on and on and he got fed up with me babbling away that he turned his body in the other direction.
What a retard. >(
