Hmmm, if you know you don’t need the $1000 for a year!! Then I would do it. Otherwise, use ING. It’s only 4%, so you’d make… about… $30 less, but (a) you can access the money any time, and (b) you can put in as much money as you want.
I have also wrestled with putting money in CDs, but I figure… you never know what will happen! I prefer to keep my funds liquid!!
