Stupid TV. :p

Somehow because my parents forbade me to watch TV when I was young during the week, I just lost interest in it. So like…now…in college, I hear squeals of FRIENDS. Yeah, so it\’s the seaon finale. Bah humbug!

Sam disrupted our study session for a FRIENDS break. Hehe, it was funny when he got excited. It seems like Rachel and Ross are more real to him than real people. And when I got back, my roommates were squealing about it.

How boring. :p

Went to eat lunch with Chris at Cafe Durant (hamburger…because I didn\’t have enough cash). Then I went to see if Cliff was around. Then being the stalker I am, I went to see if Seth was around. His floor smelled…weird. But unfortunately most of the doors weren\’t labeled. I went to CKC to study with Sam and Grace for EE. Hardcore studying from 4 pm to 10 pm. Sort of. Sam nicely swiped me into the icky DC. As usual, they had…yucky food.

But cotton candy was good. :) Grace and I shared one, while Sam looked on in disgust.

Remind me never to wear flip flops when I go to Southside. At 9:56 (okay I left early), I was at the CKC parking lot. Then at 10:12 I reached the edges of campus. Then at 10:23 I reached the hill going up to North Gate. Then, I finally got back…at 10:30. I walked so much today…it\’s not even funny…in my flip flops.

Found this on a mailing list. :) It\’s true isn\’t it?

The heaviest element known to science was recently discovered.

The element, tentatively named Administratium, has no protons or electrons and thus has an atomic number of 0. However, it does have 1 neutron, 125 assistant neutrons, 75 vice neutrons and 111 assistant vice neutrons, giving it an atomic mass of 312. These 312 particles are held together in the nucleus by a force that involves the continuous exchange of meson like particles called morons.

Since it has no electrons, Administratium is inert. However, it can be detected chemically as it impedes every reaction with which it comes in contact. According to the discoverers, a tiny amount of Administratium caused one reaction to take over 4 days to complete when it would normally occur in less than 1 second.

Administratium has a normal half-life of approximately 3 years. At this time it doesn\’t actually decay but instead undergoes reorganization in which assistant neutrons, vice neutrons, and assistant vice neutrons exchange places. Some studies have shown that the atomic mass actually increased after each reorganization.

Researchers at other laboratories indicated that Administratium occurs naturally in the atmosphere. It tends to concentrate at certain points such as universities, government agencies, large corporations, and schools. The element can be found in the newest, best-appointed and best-maintained buildings.

Scientists point out that Administratium is known to be toxic at any level of concentration and can easily destroy any productive reactions where it is allowed to accumulate. Attempts are being made to determine how Administratium can be controlled to prevent irreversible damage, but results are not promising.

Guess what? I am homeless again. I thought it would jinx it if I blogged about it, but I lost it anyway! :p It was a nice room in a four bedroom apartment located at the northwest corner of the campus. It would have been $580 for a room of my own, which is cheap considering the rent in Berkeley. So the day after I see it, I call back telling that I am interested in taking the room, but my parents want to see it first. Unfortunately, my mom couldn\’t make it the following day. So then the girl calls me today and tells me that she is giving the room to one of my friends.

GREAT.

I am homeless AGAIN!

It\’s a return of the Day List!

  • woke up to my allergies acting up again
  • called my mom about the new apartment that I was thinking of renting
  • talked to NAIM! (yet naim gets his own special line)
  • talked to chris anon (who ditched me for Top Dog), shroom
  • stacee didn\’t talk to me :(
  • ran to Soda to catch CS70, before it was let out
  • waited awhile before this guy named Austin noticed me…yapped about the CS application
  • saw Seth and got my episode II CDs (of which people later criticized me of getting, saying that I should go to the theater! no, me no like theater. heads. hairy heads. too many.) Thanks Seth!
  • found Sam along the way to Wheeler (noted line of conversation when I was trying to explain why uh…Seth knows who he is: How can I stick out in class? What I stick my ass out?! [Jumping to the side, showing me how he exactly sticks it.])
  • sat with Xing, Tram, and Christina while I kept making jokes about how they couldn\’t forget my birthday because it was on the day of the class\’ final
  • standing ovation for Professor Presti
  • worked with Yeh on the computer science major application (oh and yes I had to feed him)
  • Naim got a tight skirt! ;)
  • played sissy fight
  • turned in CS application – pray that I\’ll get into the major or forever I shall stay undeclared
  • attempted to get Virgin Suicides again from Emmy…unsuccessfully
  • nappy
  • helped my sis with her computer problem
  • tried the-protagonist chat…again…dragged Christina along into it and got greeted by a \”MIDGET SEX\” from Lele
  • then lele\’s away message became sleepingwithjennsmidget
  • Edwin wants sideburns to look like Aaron Kwok
  • Yeh decided to gross me out with the happy tree friends
  • went to sleep at 4 am :(
  • My skirt was so tight. *suffocates*

I had an interview at Bayer for an internship, secured by my dad. My mom called my apartment at 9:22 am, waking up my roommate. For the first time since I was 10 years old I wore what is it called…leggings? My mom drove me there, nagging me the entire way (hello? I know my way around Berkeley since I have lived for 2 years!). I got a sticker badge at the visitor center and was directed toward building 14. Considering the Bayer campus ws built in 1917…I got lost wandering into an area of forklifts. I was 3 minutes late, but the interviewer wasn\’t even there.

The interview…was…short, to say the least. I didn\’t get to interview with the actual supervisor. Most of the questions seemed off the record. The only question I had prepared for was the \”Why do you want to work at Bayer?\”

I sincrely answered just as I had practiced, \”I want to expand my horizons. Mainly, I want to increase my experience and I hope to work in this field in the future…\”

\”Uh. You\’re mainly going to do data entry.\”

    So much for interview practice.

And the weirdest question was, \”Did you like high school?\”

To which I answered, \”Personally, I like Berkeley more because it is more challenging and more interesting…\”

To which she responded, \”Oh, I hated high school.\”

Good to know we have something in common. ;)

Awwww…my sis looks so cute in her ninja getup gear. Sad that her friends don\’t appreciate the POWER OF NINJANESS. Now where\’s my ninja burger…

I am NINJA JENN!! Does it strike fear in those who thought they knew me? Must wait for darkness. Must order ninja burger. But am I crazy? Yeah. Was there was a reason that I put in my current.jpg? Maybe, since I am only part of one cam portal. :D

NINJA STYLE! (Lesson for the ninja-in-training here and find the other ninjas here.) Naim and Shroom did it a month before…and I didn\’t think I could be one because most of the t-shirts I have are…uh…small. Then I remembered my AMD t-shirt, GEEK itself. Then there it is!

Now onto making my own ninja weapons.

Just as I promised, I am supposed to brag about seeing Spiderman. :) I saw it with Seth at the UA. (Someone finally listens to what I am saying!) The love scenes were corny as Chris Anon. said, but I was pretty impressed with the special fx. The story…interesting…weaknesses and origins are more interesting to watch. Funny, he thought there was something after the credits. So we sat there…waiting…but the screen turned blank and the theater people were cleaning up around us. I knocked a cup of soda on the way out. Just like what I do usually! :D And Seth walked me back to my apartment just so that he could take that walk he usually takes from Soda. ;)
