*sniff* Stacee\’s AACLC graduation was very sentimental and sweet. Of course, I have the habit about ranting how it brought back memories of my own bittersweet high school graduation. The moment that the vice principal congratulated the class of 2000, I just couldn\’t wait to get out of there. Out of the superficiality. Out of snobville. But no, I was stuck another 10 hours in grad nite, which was quite uneventful since my ex-best friend was tired and mopey the entire time. I enjoyed the grad party I threw for myself the day after…

Nonetheless! I thought that the AALAC graduation was just right. The food kind of sucked. Stacee had told me to get to Encinal at 3. I did, but apparently I didn\’t have to get there at three since I basically chatted with Simon and Steve, Stacee\’s prom date, for awhile. Simon gave me his thingie. (Oh and yes, I updated the birthday list.) Afterwards, we went to the ice cream store…and I was surprised by an ice cream cake. MANGO! Thank you Stacee! Although it\’s quite late…2 weeks late?
:)

Simon\’s house. Small as usual. Clare, Simon and Stacee watched Simon\’s new Harry Potter dvd on his PS2 while I went on AIM and surfed around.

Then, I drove Stacee and Clare back so that they could get ready.

The graduation party. Was long. I nearly dozed off during the introduction of the graduates. Thankfully I didn\’t have to endure some sad graduation like mine. The thing is…I was surprised that the people that Stacee talked about…LOOKED YOUNG. I had imagined them to be…looking like frat boys. Heh. The graduation ceremony was sweet and memorable. Makes me wish that I was part of a community rather than some faceless nameless high school. Just like family…sniff.

Then Simon, Clare, Stacee and I headed to Dennys. Somehow I lost Simon on the way to Dennys. I had thought that he had pulled over to wait for me. But apparently, I had just pulled behind a Toyota Camry with a license plate starting with 3 and Simon was driving an old Integra with a license plate starting with 2. So apparently, I was following the wrong car. Whoops. I had a nice din din and drove home to not take a shower until very late. ;)

Stacee got me a special birthday cake (cake with mango ice cream)! :D Just like DA ICON: with a big 20 (where the zero is the orbiting charged particle).

Now I am in Simon\’s puny bedroom using aim and IE while Simon, A CLARE (their friend), and Stacee watch Harry Potter on Simon\’s PS2.

Hmm. Everytime I try to reach a landlord or a manager on their cellphone, they are driving. I just got berated for calling someone up like that. Whoops?

shroom: hmfp where did you go @_@
shroom: hehe
me: shower
me: did you miss me?
shroom: yes @_@

Awwww…Shroom missed me! How cute! ;)

The apartments I saw today were yucky. OLD and like messed up. The first guy was annoyed earlier today, because I had called and wasn\’t very clear in my message. He gave me a short lecture on the phone about how it is important to be clear. I apologized. The place he showed me…was eeeh. The building was built in 1912 and apparently, nothing had been completely remodeled. He pointed out a special glass case that was antique and would not be made anymore. Then the second place. The manager seemed to have good rapport with all the tenants. The first place he showed me, a studio, was nice because it was recently built. However, I wanted two separate rooms at least. Still, old. The fridge in the one bedroom was in the living room. And supposedly a previous tenant had decided to knock down the bedroom wall so that there wasn\’t a wall separating the living room or the bedroom. No like.

Want northside. Now!

I am homeless. I am picky.

I know exactly where I want to live (which is basically a three block radius from where I used to live), but I don\’t want to be paying $1500-$1600 per month for an one bedroom apartment. Most likely, I will be stuck living in an apartment a 20 minute walk away. UGH. I enjoyed waking up only 5 minutes before class.

I envy my sis. She\’s going to be living at an apartment complex complete with a pool and a mini gym. She\’s going to be paying $1620/month for a two story two bedroom two bath townhouse. That includes two parking spaces. So unfair. An apartment like that would cost up to $2400 here in Berkeley. SIGH.

How embarassing. I saw this nice apartment in a good area of Berkeley for only $1260/month. I called and left a message. Later she calls and tells me that she only has studios. I blatantly point out that she was advertising a one bedroom apartment on homefinders. Afterwards I check…and realize that it was a studio posted after all. GAH. So much for a cheap rent. I would have liked to get that apartment for $1115, but no…my roommate didn\’t want to. *SIGH*

I am back in L-town! After I got back, I hopped back on AIM. Then headed to my other computer to watch two episodes of Six Feet Under (ya know, I am just sadistic like that).

Home sweet home. NOT.

I miss chai tea. :(
