Can you imagine fixing four laptops at once? And trying to remember what was the computer problem for five people at once? Yeah. Despite the ultimate multitasker I am, I am still human.

Any single asian never married American-born Chinese professional female in her 30s out there?

A relative of my dad\’s (who has refused to talk to our side of the family for awhile) has just asked my parents whether they know of any single females. Of that criteria. For their son who is 42 years old and still unmarried. Apparently, they\’re feeling desperate and are asking everybody that they know. The 42 year old man supposedly gave me a first shirt from Gap for Christmas.

So, any willing candidates? Personally, I wouldn\’t want to \”date\” someone who could be my father. Also, I am betting that the guy is gay and he hasn\’t told his parents. And wants to try a la Wedding Banquet.

Tan Tan\’s Birthday today! :D TWENTEE-FEE.

It was just yesterday when he was in his terrible twos. Sniff. Come and hurry to California!!!!!

I really dislike how when I purchase a service that there are always hidden fees and thousands of gray areas that I am not aware of. And every time I call customer support, I get a different answer.

I registered for the LSAT today and although it says there is limited space available in UC Berkeley, there isn\’t. So hey guys in Sac, I\’ll be taking the test in University of Pacific because I messed up.

I tried cancelling my cable internet approximately three times this week and finally got through to the CSR. Evidently, Saturday afternoons have only a five minute wait time while Friday afternoons have an hour wait time and one is more likely to get disconnected (accidentally). So I find out that my yearlong contract ends September 4th instead of August 22nd. Last year, they had trouble finding my roommate and me (because they didn\’t know what a button at the front door). I guess that\’s why it got so deferred. And I also just ordered SBC dsl. I guess I\’ll pay the difference out of my pocket since it\’s my fault for making the mistake. Bleh.

This is costing me so much money.

In other news, my roommate randomly told me she was thinking of moving out.
Reason #1 I am not a great roommate. I know I am lazy when it comes to cleaning. And that\’s probably why. I also demand that we must have broadband Internet. She probably doesn\’t like my music either. :D
Reason #2 The rent plus utilities costs more than $800/month. And student fees are rising too!
Reason #3 Location. We live on Southside and it\’s very loud sometimes. Stupid people in the parking lot near our windows. The church whose music can wake up anybody with its heavenly tunes. Also it\’s sort of far from classes (but not from food).
Reason #4 Bad cellular reception. Well that\’s the case for me. I get one bar and if I get a call on my cell, I tend to cut off.
Reason #5 Maybe she needs a change of environment? Or like Aaron, a place of her own?
Reason #6 It smells in there!!!

EDIT: hmm i guess she isn\’t.

Sort of upset. And not.

Last month, Mikkkee told me about Melee coming to Berkeley to give a free concert (today). So at 4 pm, I headed down to lower Sproul (taking a leave of work) just to see them. I get there…and I don\’t recognize the music or the band. So I assume it\’s the previous band that is playing. Then another band comes on. I think it\’s Melee, because it\’s four people. and OMG i start bobbing my head. No band deserves the bobbing of my head. Eventually, I discover it\’s a band from Santa Cruz Suburban Legends…which played so-so music. I look at the concert program and Melee is not listed. I aska girl who is staffing the merchandise table and she says that Melee has already played. Later, I check online on the website…and it turns out Melee was supposed to have played. MMMPH NOT HAPPY. Yeah, that was my interesting event of the afternoon. What I skipped out finishing a resident\’s hacked computer for…

But Melee rocks anyway!

And…cheez and tan tan got their b-day package I had promised! :D I had dropped off the package last Saturday afternoon and it didn\’t arrive until today. :p

And why does the Fedex tracking says Duluth, WI and then says Duluth, MN. Hm.

I hear sirens in Berkeley almost at least once a day. And some people are afraid of being in an earthquake here more than anything.

Yesterday night, Boris imed me asking me to go to Blakes for…\”dancing\”. Of course, I can\’t say no to someone like Boris. And lately I have been thinking how this is going to be my last year in Berkeley and I have yet to try the Berkeley nightlife. Well, I\’ll just say now that the Berkeley nightlife isn\’t for me.

So around 11:40 pm, I was standing on the corner of Telegraph and Channing waiting for Boris to show. There was a \”couple\” who kept telling me that they were married and it was oh-so great. Then a couple groups of obviously drunk people. When he finally showed me, we stood in line. If it wasn\’t for my white camisole, I don\’t think I would have fit in with all these preppy clubbing-type makeup-all-over twenty somethings. To my shock and dismay, we found out that there was a cover charge of $5. I reluctantly paid it while they checked my id. (yeah, the powers of being 21)

Boring music. We stayed there for an hour and only one good song was played on. Sweaty people kept (accidentally) bumping into me. Ew. What\’s more, the \”couples\” kept grinding and humping into me. I don\’t want to be knocked over!

So after seeing a former high school \”friend\” who I think didn\’t recognize me…but gave me a pseudo-hug anyway and after having to breathe the strong perfume of some twentysomethings, we left.

Five dollars wasted.

In other BIG news, Naim has decided to unblock me!

I tabled today for the Cal\’s fair for student organizations aka Calapalooza. For my club, the BLAH REPUBLIC Yes we have a club about blogging and yes it does defeat the purpose of having a blog. But we teach people how to blog…how to do html…how to write scripts so that blogging is easier.

But the funny thing is that about 80% of the people that stopped by the table did not know what a blog is. Or a Xanga. Or a livejournal. Sort of shocking!

I walked by the Queer Clubs and a girl leapt out at me. To my surprise, she handed me a flyer to join the Cal Queer Women organization. OMG CAT, AM I TURNING?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

Due to my fascination of friendster, I have discovered this paper on how a similar social network evolves. It\’s not just 6 degrees but 4 degrees of separation!

Sometimes, I want to be omniscient just to see how people are interconnected with each other. Do I have a friend who knows someone who works with the sister of your friend\’s counsin\’s classmate\’s neighbor?

AND LIKE OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG?!

This is the first time that a quiz is so accurate. I wonder what it really says about me though.
