RCC hiring is here once again. Since you were qualified enough to be an alternate last year, I wanted to encourage you to apply again since you hadn\’t already decided to re-apply. I know this reminder comes a bit late (The deadline is at 5pm today April 4th), but if you would like to re-apply let me know and I can stretch the deadline for you.

For those of you who don\’t know what a RCC is…it stands for Residential Computing Consultant. Basically, a RCC heads into the dreaded zone of the CAL dorms to assist residents with troubleshooting…and basically helping them with their crisises. AKA \”OMG! There\’s like this picture thing happening on my screen. RED BRICKS or something!\”

Great. Aaron told me how this job was severely underpaid and I was about to apply elsewhere. But RCCs only work 5-8 hours/week. I don\’t know if I should apply again, but I am still displeased that I got the alternate position. >:(

I am still getting thousands of hits for \”kiss because i am a girl\”. GAH, when will it ever stop?

Then all these people looking for \”cellphone reverse lookup\”. If there was such a thing, I would already know about it. Being the stalker that I am, I would have researched all the numbers that I have receieved on caller id.

Then there\’s this one: \”don\’t horse about jimmy your lunch is almost done!!!!!!!!!!!!!\”. \’Nuff said.

\”I\’ve gotta get out of here. Too many freshmen.\” some obnoxious so-called upperclassman said in the computer lab.

How obnoxious. How annoying. How pissed off I am. First of all, I was in the CS61C lab, the last undergraduate CS course. And furthermore, most of the people in the lab are sophomores. And even then, the freshmen in CS61c were incredibly smart (i.e. my lab partner…he\’s from Texas). And like this girl from 61B, the friend of that obnoxious \”upperclassman\”, is sitting to the left of me. GAH!

That was so insulting. I am not an annoying freshman. At most I was the freaked out scared freshman. And I bet most of the people in this lab aren\’t annoying either. Well okay, with the exception of that guy Brian.

Remember how I bet that XP is faster than 98?

Well, even after my proof…the guy won\’t let me win his computer, because he claimed he never bet his computer. Sigh.

So he grabbed my lecture notes during CS and scribbled \”boo XP!\”

Then I grabbed his lecture notes and wrote, \”I win your computer! XP is faster than your mom!\”

Then he wrote on mine, \”Why are you getting so personal? At least that\’s what your mom said to me yesterday.\”

Uf, what an idea of an April Fool\’s joke. :p
