I would just like to declare that I have spent a lot of time helping Aaron set up his new webpage. *cough* WELCOME NEW HOSTEE. AND PROBABLY ONLY HOSTEE EVER. YES. ME!!!!!!!!

The horror of this semester is almost over. Somehow my schedule this semester was more than I bargained for. Along with all the drama that I naturally caused and the procrastination that bloomed out of nowhere…this semester has been my least favorite.

I wrote 13 pages for cog sci (after study group hopping and spending hours in gsi\’s office hours – after calculating, I spent over 23 hours on this). Then wrote 5 pages for cs. Then cs midterm. THOSE TWO HORRIBLE CLASSES OVER!

Last year around this time, I was freaking out and studied really hard for my electrical engineering final. Oh and this was when I met Seth (YES SOMEONE I KNEW ONLINE) and we went to watch Spiderman. Then this was also the same time last year when I had my NINJA STYLE thing!!!!

Professors, no matter how horrible they are, always get an applause at the end of the semester…during the last lecture. Today was the last day of Linguistics. The professor is good sometimes, but usually bad most of the time. As she ended the lecture, the usual noise of shuffling and tables pushed aside grew. Then after several seconds of that, there was finally applause.

It\’s sad that there was hesitation for her applause.

I used gaim in the lab and I noticed that my buddy list from two weeks ago was uploaded again. So everyone that I had unblocked is now blocked once again. This time though, I think I may leave it all blocked just because it just wasn\’t worthwhile to unblock certain people.

SPITE!!!!

A few days ago, my roommate asked me not to bring anybody over for the next two weeks, because it\’s finals time. Rational and valid, right? Because I am always slow to react, I agreed. But the thing is…I rarely bring anybody over. When I do, it\’s not like we start throwing a party. Perhaps last semester when I invited my sister and another friend over…to watch a movie on my computer…*cough* maybe that was loud? But I didn\’t think so. This is my living space too.

I always find it contradictory because last year she had mentioned she could study/sleep with noise. Surprise surprise, her attitude toward noise changed drastically.

Sometimes I wonder whether my roommate has a life. But that is obviously a criticism from me. I know my dad was like that in college, consistently avoiding the social aspect of college. But he says he regrets not taking advantage of it, forcing himself to hours upon hours of studying.

Carpe Diem, I say. Carpe Diem.

I find it better study with other people, because they fill in the gaps that you may have had in learning.

Bottom line: THIS IS MY APARTMENT TOO.

Very uneventful Saturday. I had an orientation for my job. Study group. My dad bought me my supplies from home. Sniff, thanks Mommy for making me all the food. :D HAPPY MOTHER\’S DAY!!!!

I got accosted by news crews while I was walking through campus. FOX NEWS wanted to know my opinion on how the campus was preventing students with SARS from entering the campus, etc etc. They asked me for some input, but because I was in a rush, in the presence of someone that already said no comment, and also I knew I would say something derogatory about the entire nation (WELL I WISH I WOULD GET SARS SO THAT I COULD INFECT THE ENTIRE CAMPUS AND THE CURVE WILL BE IN MY FAVOR. ACTUALLY LET\’S MAKE SURE THE WORLD DIES.) I refused an interview. My chance at 15 minute fame is gone!

My photolog of today will portray more of my uneventful day. Hopefully, with the amount of stuff (paper #1, paper #2, final) I have to do…I\’ll be able to finish it.

Needless to say, I have been inspired by phatgirl to start \”exercising\”. But I don\’t believe in diets…so my usual meal plan will stay the same.

BUT LET\’S DO THIS:

Weight : UNKNOWN, because I don\’t own a scale.
Body Fat : UNKNOWN, because I am too cheap to buy a fat scale and too lazy to swoop into Sharper Image to use their displays

Exercise : 10-15 minute run around the Berkeley neighborhood. Not sure how long it was, but I put a pan of frozen fries in the oven (yes, I left it on when I was not in my apartment OMG) and when I came back, it was done.

Foods :

Half cup of Jamba Juice Strawberries Wild ($1, the student advocate office was selling these on Sproul). BUT I DON\’T KNOW IF IT WAS FAT FREE.

A taco melt. ($3.79) with OMG FATTENING GROUND BEEF, tomato salsa, OMG FATTY CHEESE, and OMG WATERY BEANS.

Oh yeah and my fries. I like my fries SALTY.

Comments : Photos on request. I set my alarm at 11:30 am so that I would have time to prepare for my 12:30 pm class. When it went off, I turned it off and went back to sleep. Then suddenly after a dream of Xing showing me photos of her trying on Tram\’s sister\’s wedding dress, I woke up and my clock said 1:49 pm. I basically ran out the door. But oddly enough, the campus clock tower was playing the noon song…and I realized it was only 11:49 am. DOH. Yeah so back to the comments. SO…UH, YEAH!

On a whim, I decided to unblock everybody on my aim list except for THIS ONE WOMAN FROM NYC OMG SHE WAS SO ANNOYING THAT SHE DESERVES TO BE BLOCKED *COUGH*
